St. John Lutheran Church, Red Lake Falls, MN

Welcome to St. John Lutheran Church of Red Lake Falls, MN!

As a person exits our parking lot at church, we have a sign which reads, "You Are Entering the Mission Field". I believe that is a good statement of our goal and purpose. We want to bring Jesus to our local community and to the world through the ways in which God has promised to come to us: in His Word of the Holy Scripture and in His Holy Sacraments.
 

St. John is a congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. We hold fast to the sacred inspired teachings of the Bible, the historic creeds of the Christian church, and the Confessions of the Lutheran Church in the Book of Concord. We worship in the historic liturgical form, which we believe brings Christ and His Word to us in a faithful and wonderful manner.
 

Here at St. John, you will find opportunities to grow in your faith and in fellowship with other Christians. You will find ways to help and serve others. We invite you to come and worship with us and be a part of our Christian fellowship!

Along with our pastor, our congregation is led by a team of dedicated lay leaders who serve in a variety of roles and are committed to serving God, our congregation, and our community.

"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? Now eagerly desire the greater gifts" (1 Corinthians 12:27-31 ESV).
