Divine worship at St. John uses a variety of beautiful, historic liturgies of the church found in our hymnal, the Lutheran Service Book. God's truth is proclaimed through the Word and His gift of forgiveness is bestowed in the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.
"Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand" (Psalm 95:6-7 ESV).
The gathering of believers at St. John praises God with liturgy and hymn singing accompanied by our organists. The St. John choir and individuals provide special music.
"Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!" (Psalm 100:1-2 ESV).
